Birthplace of Gautam Buddha

The birth place of Siddhartha Gautam( Gautam Buddha) is in Nepal.

To Visit Lumbini you have two way

1) Air way

2) Road Way

1) Air Way: If you want to visit Lumbini, Take a ticket of Kathmandu Nepal

when you land at kathmandu, Go to domestic Airport North of International Airport

then take Airplane to Bhairahawa. Now you are at Bhairahawa Airport, you will get taxi in front of Airport if u wish to take otherwise you have to walk up to main gate and there is one road east to west, you have to go west on that road. Afterward go 40 meter ahead a junction road come, thats the way for local bus for lumbini, bus comes from east and the lumbini is in west from airport. Ask Bus for lumbini they will make you guide for lumbini. The fair for lumbini only 25 Nepalese Rupees.

2) Road Way

One is from india, if you are comming from india you have to come from sunauli the boarder of nepal and india. when you enter at nepal, you will get the bus ahead of border, you have to come at buddha chock, it will takeRs 12 Nepalese Rupee, when you are at buddha chock (way for lumbini), look at west road from that chock, you will see big gate, before that gate you will see the bus station, take a bus for lumbini from there.

From Nepal, Come at bhairahawa ask bus conductor for buddha chock at bhairahawa and as above you can easily visit to lumbini
